Novecento Wide FontFont – is a graphic drawing of shapes of letters and symbols that constitutes a single stylistic and compositional system, a set of characters of a certain size and pattern. In the narrow typographical sense a font is called the set of symbols designed for typing. Group of different types of fonts and pins that have the same style, the same style and design, is called the headset. There are several main characteristics which may distinguish fonts:
• Weight. The weight of a particular font is the thickness of the character outlines relative to their height. A typeface may come in fonts of many weights, from ultra-light to extra-bold or black; four to six weights are not unusual, and a few typefaces have as many as a dozen.
• Slope. The slope of a font is the angle to which it is slanted. Regular fonts are upright. When they begin to slant to the right, they become more cursive in style. This is typically called italic.
• Width. The width of a font is how much each character has been stretched or compressed. Not every typeface comes in a compressed or stretched font. The names used to describe fonts with varying widths include compressed, condensed, ultra-condensed, narrow, wide, extended, and expanded.
Novecento is an a sleek, modern sans-serif uppercase-only font family inspired on European typographic tendencies of the first half of 20th century. This typeface is designed to be used mostly for headlines, visual identities or small areas of text, both in big and small sizes.
